Strategic Buyer

Main Tasks

  • Define, implement and further develop company-wide sourcing strategies
  • Responsible for global market, price and supplier analysis
  • Evaluate, win and build the supplier network
  • Responsible for the support, evaluation and further development of existing suppliers
  • Optimizing procurement with regard to operating costs, inventories, risks and quality assurance
  • Conducting price negotiations and drafting supplier contracts

 

Your Profile

  • Technical basic education with further education in industrial engineering, business administration, supply chain or equivalent
  • Several years of professional experience in strategic, technical and international purchasing
  • Good technical understanding is a prerequisite
  • Experience in contract management
  • Very good oral and written language skills in German and English 
  • Structured way of working, open, communicative and forward-looking personality
