Increasing the IR Source Temperature Modulation

For some infrared systems a higher temperature modulation results in an improved Signal to Noise ratio (S:N) this can be a challenge when using detectors that have the best sensitivity at frequencies higher than 3 Hz.

Axetris' Solid-State Infrared Sources were specifically designed for improved temperature modulation with a thin and low-mass membrane that can only be achieved with MEMS bulk micromachining techniques.
