Anesthesia Monitoring

Anesthesia agent monitoring identifies and quantifies the anesthesia. This is done by using infrared absorption techniques to control the phases of the anesthesia. Therefore several gases have to be measured at once – online, accurately and reliably.


Targeted gases are Halotane, Isoflurane, Enflurane, Sevofluorane, Desflurane, CO2, N2O.

The trend to miniaturize such modules showcases the advantages of the Axetris MEMS-based broadband infrared source for NDIR gas detection.
