Pulmonary Diagnostic

NDIR is a well-accepted technique to measure and monitor various gases related to pulmonary function tests (PFTs). Various such techniques, which are related to spirometry, have been developed in the last decade, where a quick and precise monitoring of certain gases is necessary. Typical gases are CO and CO2, but also methane (CH4) and various nitrogen oxides.
Axetris IR Sources are the ideal choice for use in such diagnostic instruments.
Advantages of Axetris Infrared Sources :
- High emission at 4.26μm
- Small size
- Fast electrical modulation (Modulation frequency: >10Hz)
- High modulation depth
- Low power consumption
- Long lifetime
Axetris offers solutions by providing a portfolio of IR sources with several reflector with or without integrated windows (BaF2, CaF2, GeART100).
